Weimar’s Bauhaus University was founded in 1919 by Walter Gropius, one of the world’s pioneers of modern architecture, and is now a protected UNESCO World Heritage Site.
In honour of Bauhaus University’s 90th anniversary, the Weimar Classics Foundation is hosting a remarkable exhibition to celebrate this innovative design movement that went on to enjoy international acclaim.
Following an opening ceremony on 31st March, ‘The Bauhaus Comes From Weimar’ exhibition which will run until 5th July.
Visitors can marvel at the wonders of the Bauhaus in Weimar’s Bauhaus Museum, the Neues Museum Weimar, the Schiller Museum and the Goethe National Museum.
